Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how FrostLine Works (“FrostLine Works,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the websites, applications, and services we provide under the FLW Apps brand and related products (collectively, the “Services”), including flwapps.com and applications such as FLW Vendor POS, Control, and other FrostLine Works SaaS products.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Account and profile information — such as name, email address, username, password (stored in hashed form), business name, and role.
- Contact and communications information — such as phone numbers you provide for SMS or support, and messages you send to us.
- Business and operational data — content and records you or your organization create in the Services (for example, menus, orders, vendor records, schedules, or configuration settings).
- Payment and billing information — when you purchase a paid plan, limited billing details may be processed by our payment processors; we generally do not store full payment card numbers.
- Technical and usage information — such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies — as described in the Cookies section below.
If you use a FrostLine Works application that sends SMS on behalf of a business, that business may provide customer phone numbers and related consent records so messages can be delivered as requested.
2. How information is used
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and provide customer support;
- Send transactional notices related to the Services (for example, account, security, billing, or product notices);
- Deliver SMS and other messaging that you or a business customer have requested and consented to;
- Monitor performance, diagnose issues, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect the security of the Services;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
- Communicate about updates, features, or administrative matters.
3. SMS messaging
Some FrostLine Works applications may collect mobile phone numbers so we can send text messages related to the Services you or a business customer request (for example, appointment reminders, order updates, account notices, or other program messages disclosed at opt-in).
- Purpose-limited use. Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS are used only for the services the customer requested.
- No sale or marketing sharing. Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
- Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on your interaction with the Services and the program you joined.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply to messages you send or receive.
- Opt out. You may reply STOP to unsubscribe from a messaging program. After you opt out, you may receive a confirmation message, and we will stop sending further messages for that program unless you opt in again.
- Help. You may reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact us at [email protected].
- Consent is not required to buy. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Consent records. SMS consent records (including the date, time, method of consent, and related disclosures where available) are retained to demonstrate compliance and to administer messaging programs.
Where FrostLine Works sends messages on behalf of a business customer using our platform, that business is responsible for obtaining any required consent and for the content of its communications, subject to our Acceptable Use requirements and applicable law.
5. Analytics
We may use first-party analytics and, where configured, third-party analytics tools to understand usage patterns, improve performance, and diagnose errors. Analytics data may include aggregated or pseudonymous technical information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, and referral sources.
6. Account information
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. You may update certain account information within the applicable application settings. To request correction, export, or deletion of account information, contact us using the details below. We may retain limited information as required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.
7. Third-party services
We use trusted service providers to help operate the Services. These may include hosting providers, email and SMS delivery providers (such as Twilio or Telnyx), payment processors, analytics providers, and security or monitoring tools. These providers process information only as needed to perform services for us and are expected to protect it appropriately.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party products. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data with third parties for those parties’ independent marketing purposes.
8. Data security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use strong, unique passwords and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
9. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. SMS consent and related messaging records are retained for compliance and operational purposes, and may be kept for several years consistent with industry guidance and applicable requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
10. Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
